Sometimes I just need a simple pattern to relax.
What about you?
The cat/dog stomps across you.
Binge watchin’ Netflix or watching evening shows.
I’d say those are all times to relax.
What better way then knitting a blanket pattern, am I right?
When I was thinking of knit blanket ideas, the Beach Day Knit Blanket Pattern was it.
The moment I started thinking about it, everything started coming together.
From the yarn to the stitches to the added decor.
Something that was important to me was that it could be made by easy by a beginner.
I wanted anyone to be able to make this!
Looking for a PDF pattern?
I know ya sometimes want a PDF of the pattern.
Well the great news is, I’ve got it just for you!
My PDF patterns have a nice clean cut look to them, that I personally test out on my iPad to make sure it all works and appears right.
These PDFs don’t have lots of white space as I use double columns instead of more pages.
They also have large font to read easily, and since they are made to be accommodating for iPad/tablets, you can also zoom in on them too.
But I wanted to take it a step further, and have loads of extra visuals at the end to help ya out.
Plus, here is a set of WIP Hook Makers for ya, so your work doesn’t unravel on your break.
Want the PDF?
I’ve made the time just for you, to make a special PDF of the Beach Day Knit Blanket Pattern!
Because you deserve it and this pattern is even nicer and more organized than the print friendly PDF!
You could say it’s absolutely perfect for your tablet or iPad (I’ve tested it!).

US 11 8mm 29” Circular Needles
Red Heart, Dreamy, #5 Chunky Weight Yarn approximately 700 yards (I used Aqua yarn colors.)
Large Blunt Yarn Needle
4 pieces of 6” x 6” Faux Fur Fabric
Starting with Aqua yarn,
Stretchy cast on 100 STS.
Row 1:K across.
Row 2:Sockinette ST across.
Repeat row 2 204 times.
Stretchy cast off, fasten off leaving a long tail, weave ends.
Next, you will need to make 4 fur pom poms for each corner and attach them.
Use the tutorial linked below to make the pom poms.
Learn to make a faux fur pom pom here!
Attaching the Pom Pom (Optional)
Using your yarn needle, thread the yarn through the needle.
Then take the needle through one corner of the blanket.
Do the same with the other end of yarn.
Continue this method on each corner.

And before I completely forget, I know sometimes you need some extra help with something. Well since I'm really busy, it can take me a day or 2 before I can get back to you. The thing is, I feel REALLY bad about that. So I created the Ultimate Knit and Crochet Facebook group. It's got some really awesome women that love to share their projects, help out and get inspired from your cool adventures. But if you'd rather wait, you can always DM me on Insta for a lil extra help. :) All good?
I'm probably leaving something out. I'm only human afterall. Contribute to this information in the comments below!
