See this super duper adorable pom pom in the picture below?!?! Yeah, let’s talk about that. There are soooo many ways to make a pom pom, let alone a fur pom pom. Oh, you know. The fabric fur pom poms everyone is making (BTW, let me show you how to make the easiest fabric fur pom pom. Right here!), the yarn pom poms (I can show you how to make those riiiight here!). Am I missing any? I don’t think so, but I could be wrong. I guess I’ll find out later. Let’s go crochet a fur pom pom!
I got soooo excited when Lion Brand came out with their Go For Faux yarn. Game changer!! Let me just say, it’s awesome!!! The first thing I thought was POM POMS!!!! I loved the idea of having multiple ways to make a fur pom pom, cause if you couldn’t before, you have another chance now.
I made a video tutorial just for you!
Oops! Are ya a lefty???
But if you don’t like video tutorials, I also made a photo tutorial!
You will need:
Lion Brand, Go For Faux yarn
N Crochet Hook
Stitch Marker (This is the one that I used.)
Yarn Needle (This is what I used.)
Scissors
Stuffing (optional)
Make your slip knot.
Chain 2.
Five single crochet in the 2nd chain from hook.
You may want to use a stitch marker in the first stitch of the round to keep track. It’s easy to get lost. Just keep moving it up for each round you make.
Join in the first stitch of that round.
Chain one.
Two single crochet in each stitch around.
Join in the first stitch of that round.

Add stuffing now if you want. I don’t use stuffing for these. Cut yarn. Fasten off. eave the end around the open and pull to secure. Weave ends.
