I can change colors with crochet and so can you! Woohoo! I’ve got multiple instructions to help you along the way. Changing colors can seem like a daunting task when starting out, but it won’t take long until you can do it in your sleep. Changing colors is very easy. All you have to do is put the new color of yarn over the hook, pull it through the loop on the hook and you’re all good to go!
As a side note, you can find me on Instagram @AshleyDylanLife.
I remember when I learned changing colors. There are several different ways, but this is the way I would show a beginner as it is the easiest. This is also the best way to change colors in rows. This isn’t the way I would recommend using for working in the round though. You can google to check how to make a seamless color change transition in the round.

And for lefty’s:
Change colors with crochet photo tutorial:
Take the yarn over the crochet hook.
Then pull the crochet hook through the last loop on the crochet hook.
Next, pull the yarn back to proper length, and then knot the two ends of the yarn together.
Continue with your crochet project.

Did you find this method easy?
And before I completely forget, I know sometimes you need some extra help with something. Well since I'm really busy, it can take me a day or 2 before I can get back to you. The thing is, I feel REALLY bad about that. So I created the Ultimate Knit and Crochet Facebook group. It's got some really awesome women that love to share their projects, help out and get inspired from your cool adventures. But if you'd rather wait, you can always DM me on Insta for a lil extra help. :) All good?
I'm probably leaving something out. I'm only human afterall. Contribute to this information in the comments below!
