I’m going to be completely honest, I wasn’t going to publish this pattern. It isn’t the type of pattern I usually release, but I kept getting requests for it. So here is my gift to you. It hasn’t been tested, it’s not perfect. But it’s a starting point for you. I hope you enjoy and have a wonderful day.

Cut yarn. Fasten off. Weave ends.
Close one end of the pumpkin with CA yarn and start closing the other end while stuffing the pumpkin. Finish closing the 2nd end of the pumpkin.
Take a really long piece of CA yarn. Like 3′ long to stay on the safe side. You will need your yarn needle. Take the yarn through the middle of the pumpkin from the bottom to the top. Take the yarn around the outside of the pumpkin and back through the bottom again. Pull the yarn without breaking it to tighten and create the pumpkin ridges. Continue this pattern until you have 6 sections. Tie the end of yarn together and hide the ends inside the pumpkin.
Take your leather tab and poke a few holes in the bottom of the stem on both ends. Fold the leather tab in half. Attach the tab on top of the pumpkin to create a stem. You can use CA yarn or thread.
You have just finished your pumpkin!
